Ag. Science 11, South Shore 4: Zack Sapolski went 2-for-5 with a homer for Ag. Science (12-6) Chris Sapolski added three hits and two runs in the win.

Aurora Christian 18, Newark 0: Caleb Apker shutout Newsark over five innings, while Todd Clapp supplied the offense with a grand slam and six RBI for the Chargers (19-6). Bobby Kuntzendorf smacked a three-run homer to aid the attack.

Aurora Central 11, Yorkville 10: Matt Miller drove in the game-winning run for the Chargers (7-12).

Argo 14, Rich East 4: Emmet McGovern went 4-for-4 with three RBI, while Jeremy Vandergriff was 2-for-4 with three RBI to lead the Argonauts (10-10).

Clemente 6, Lane 5: Joey Marciano pitched six strong innings, scattering three hits and striking out nine. Michael Mercado led the offense with four hits for Clemente (12-5), while Chris Simon was 2-for-4 with a double, triple and RBI.

Coal City 12, Wilmongton 0: Austn McLuckie was the winning pitcher, and Cody Onsen’s two-run homer got things rolling for the Coalers (15-9).

Curie 11, Brooks 7: Matt Meade (3-for-4, two RBI) and Ivan Altman-McCray (2-for-4, two runs) combined to power the Condors.

Corliss 10, Vocational 0: Eric Hawkins fanned 10 over his five innings of work, and also went 2-for-2 with a pair of RBI at the plate. Cyntrell Dyson smacked a three-run homer for Corliss (15-9).

Holy Trinity 10, Ellison 0: Moi Diaz allowed just one hit in five innings and struck out 15 to lead Holy Trinity (12-4).

Foreman 10, Roosevelt 2: Eric Noe had 10 strikeouts in his complete-game effort for Foreman (5-9).

Glenbard South 16, Fenton 6: Doren Blake went 5-for-5 with a homer, triple and five RBI to power the Raiders (13-8). Ben Gasbar contributed three hits and two RBI.

Lake Park 8, Bartlett 3: Jake Pygman tossed a complete game to help the Lancers (12-11) to the win.

Lakes 6, Wauconda 1: Chris Hoffman tossed a complete game, scattering just five hits. Jake Brown’s two-run homer and Kyle Noon’s two RBI helped Lakes (12-9) on offense.

Mather 7, Schurz 4: Nico Liotta’s three RBI were the difference for Mather (5-12).

Minooka 5, Oswego 4: Max Brozovich finished 3-for-3 with two doubles for the Indians (19-3).

Oak Park 19, Loyola 6: Jack Picchiotti ended the night with 8 RBI for the Panthers (15-7).

Payton 9, Lake View 2: The Grizzlies (11-10) got a complete game from Jacob Shapiro in its victory.

Schaumburg 5, Hersey 4: The Saxons (11-6) got two RBI apiece from Matt Brancate and Tom Byrne.

Simeon 14, Young 4: Shane Brown picked up the win on the mound and went 3-for-4 with four RBI. Robert Fletcher, Quintin Richardso and Malik Simmons each had two RBI for the Wolverines (19-2).

Steinmetz 9, Amundsen 6: Nico Flores threw four perfect innings in relief, while Jose Villalobos was 3-for-3 with four RBI for Steinmetz (8-12).

Von Steuben 14, Taft 1: The Panthers (17-6) won behind five, one-hit innings from Joe Plaud and a three-run homer by Danny Hernandez. Jacob Pagan chipped in with three hits and three RBI in the win.
