Plainfield East 11, Plainfield East 1: No. 2 Plainfield North (19-0, 12-0 Southwest Prairie) winning pitcher Patrick Cashman (4-0) allowed only one earned run in five innings pitched. Joe Cresta went 2-for-3 at the plate, jacking two homers and knocking in four RBI. Kurt Palandech was 2-for-2 with two RBI and teammate Brian Evak went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI.

Providence 10, Brother Rice 3: Nick Gould went 2-for-2 with a homer and a double for No. 4 Providence (19-2, 8-2 Catholic Blue).

St. Laurence 10, St. Rita 2: Winning pitcher Mike Chimera threw a complete game, allowing two hits and striking out 11 for No. 7 St. Laurence.

Stevenson 14, Wauconda 1: Winning pitcher Blake Fiedelman gave up one earned run, one hit and fanned seven for No. 10 Stevenson (15-2). Adam Walton was 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBI. Ricky Kern went 2-for-2 with two RBI.

Argo 6, Eisenhower 4: Jeremy Vandergriff fanned 15 batters in a complete-game win and added two RBI at the plate. Cohen Piechochnski scored two runs.

Aurora Christian 4, Wheaton Academy 0: Bobby Kuntzendorf (5-0) had a dominanat performance on the mound. Kuntzendorf pitched a complete game, alowed just two hits and struck out a total of 17 batters.

Buffalo Grove 3, Conant 1: Dan Recht pitched a complete game, allowing seven hits and striking out six for Buffalo Grove (9-8, 4-1 Mid-Suburban East). Ryan Nisbet went 2-for-3 with a homer and two RBI. Andrew Van Wazer was 2-for-4 with a double and a RBI.

Cary-Grove 12, Crystal Lake Central 2: Michael Valardo was 3-for-4 with two home runs and tow RBI. Alex Posey was 3-for-4 with two homers and 4 RBI.

Clemente 10, Mather 0: Jeremiah Figueroa struck out 14 en route to a perfect game. Felix DeJesus helped out offensively, going 2-for-3 with 3 RBI.

Coal City 6, Sandwich 2: Brandon Tidaback was 3-for-3 with a run and Cody Onsen hit a two-run home run. Colin Miller (3-2) tossed a complete game, allowing five hits and fanning six.

Corliss 12, South Shore 0 : Corliss (13-9, 6-3 Minnie Minoso) was powered by Robert Johnson’s 2-for-2, two double, two RBI performance.

Cristo Rey 18, Hope Academy 9: Eric Leon struck out seven in his complete-game win.

Evergreen Park 11, Richards 7: Brian Heisterman was 4-for-5 with a run and two RBI. Dan Cronin was 3-for-5 scoring a run and batting in a run for Evergreen Park (9-11, 5-6 South Suburban Red).

Fenger 13, Lindblom 9: Martin Wright was 4-for-5 with two doubles.

Fenwick 9, Bishop McNamara 4: Quinn Collins was 2-for-3 with a RBI for Fenwick (10-10, 5-5 Catholic White).

Glenbard West 11, Proviso West 5: Daniel Wazack pitched six innings, stricking out six for Glenbard West (8-13). Ben Krusen was 3-for-4 with a double and Tyler Curtis was 2-for-4 with a homer.

Glenbrook South 5, Glenbrook North 2: Sam Koloms pitched seven innings and earned the win for Glenbrook South (16-5).

Jones 15, Morgan Park 0: Jonathan Chico allowed just one hit and struck out six in the win. Chico also scored a run offensively.

Julian 14, Vocational 2: Jerrone Rogers went 4-for-4 with 3 RBI. Vernell Pondexter 2-for-4 with three RBI and pitcher Antoine Edge earned the win.

Lake Forest 6, Antioch 5: Zach Lucas was 3-for-3 and drove in two runs.

Lake Park 3, Metea Valley 1: Mark Pall went the distance for Lake Park (10-9), allowing just two hits in the complete-game win. Eric Vatch provided offensively, going 2-for-2 with a homer and a triple.

Lakes 6, Harvard 1: Chris Hoffman allowed just one hit and no runs in the Lakes (9-8) win. Kyle Noon was 3-for-4 with two doubles and two runs. Paul Kukulka was 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI.

Lemont 13, Bremen 2: Winning pitcher Josh Ferry allowed three runs with one earned, three hits, struck out nine and went 3-for-4 with three RBI at the plate.

Leo 5, Hales 2: Clinton Hampton (2-3) fanned 13 in six innings pitched. Phillip Byrd went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Lincoln-Way Central 5, Bolingbrook 2: Pitcher Matt Doherty (3-1) struck out nine in his complete-game win. Davod Rico was 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBI.

Lisle 13, Plano 3: Ryan Burlison was the winning pitcher.

Maine South 3, Deerfield 0: Kenan Kelly (2-1) pitched a complete game, giving up only one hit.

Manteno 14, Wilmington 4: Mark Reardanz was 2-for-3 with three RBI and two runs. Jake Riberdy was 2-for-4 with three RBI and two runs.

Marmion 7, St. Francis 1: Tyler Friel (3-2) pitched a complete game, allowing just one hit and fanning five in the voctory for Marmion (12-5).

Nazareth 6, Benet 2: Mike Barajas, Ryan Powers and Justin Gonzalez all hit two-run home runs for Nazareth (17-4, 3-3 East Suburban Catholic).

New Trier 18, Maine East 0: Winning pitcher Jordan Chudacoff struck out nine.

North Shore 10, Northridge 0: Winning pitcher Jake Kann went five innings, allowed two hits and fanned five for North Shore (7-3).

Notre Dame 10, St. Patrick 8: Sean Pavel went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI.

Oak Lawn 4, Reavis 1:Bob Kometas pitched a complete game, allowing two hits and fanning six.

Payton 13, Schurz 3: Ivan Chen got the win for Payton (10-7, 4-3 Jackie Robinson North), fanning 11 in the process.

Reed-Custer 5, Peotone 3: Grant Van Haelst (6-3) allowed no runs and fanned four in the Reed-Custer (12-11) win.

Rich Central 5, Kankakee 1: Nolan Bullock was 3-for-4 with two RBI and teammate Ryan Calvin was 2-for-3 with a RBI. Jayme Taylor pitched a complete game for the win.

Robeson 10, Bowen 4: Larry Trotter earned a complete-game win. Rashard Smith had a big day at the plate going 3-for-4 with a home run, triple, double and five RBI.

St. Francis de Sales 7, Seton 5: Kemari Simmon helped drive St. Francis de Sales (6-12) to the win, going 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI.

St. Joseph 11, De La Salle 3: Trayvan Johnson pitched a complete game and Stephan Sektassa was 3-for-3 with a double for St. Joseph (11-12, 5-7 Catholic White).

Simeon 12, Brooks 0: Winning pitcher Darius Day struck out six on the mound and went 3-for-3 with three RBI at the plate for Simeon (17-2, 8-1 Jackie Robinson South). Shane Brown was 2-for-3 with a double. Corey Ray went 2-for-4 with two RBI and Quintin Richardson was 2-for-4 with a double.

Stagg 8, Andrew 2: Brad Clark pitched a complete game.

T.F. North 13, Hillcrest 4: Bill Wilson was 2-for-3 with a grand slam.

T.F. South 9, Tinley Park 1: Anthony Spangler allowed just one earned run in the complete-game win.

Thornwood 7, Thornridge 3: Justin McKinney pitched every inning and struck out 10 in the win. Lorado Adkins was 1-for-2, with a double, two RBI and two runs.

Washington 6, Ag. Science 0: Martin Serrano (5-0) was dominant for Washington (14-1, 7-1 Minnie Minoso), pitching a complete game while allowing just one hit. Augastin Guerrero was 2-for-3 with two RBI at the plate.

West Aurora 11, West Chicago 7: Ricky Rivera went 2-for-2 with two doubles and three RBI. Pitcher Adam Baumann took the win.

Westminster Christian 4-5, IMSA 3-3: Brendan West was 3-for-3 in game 1 of the double header.
