Mount Carmel 2, St. Laurence 0: Winning pitcher Tyler Laurisch struck out five for No. 4 Mount Carmel (19-2, 7-1 Catholic Blue).

St. Rita 10, Providence 3: Eddy DeLaRiva (9-0) struck out five in the win for No. 8 St. Rita (18-3, 6-2 Catholic Blue). Connor McClain went 1-for-3 with a three-run double and two runs. Jake Thome went 3-for-4 with two runs.

Addison Trail 12-18, Proviso East 1-0: Anthony Milazzo allowed just two hits and struck out 13 in the win for Addison Trail (10-9, 5-6 West Suburban Gold). Todd Brocksom went 3-for-4 with two homers and five RBI in Game 1. In Game 2, Mike Imperiale struck out six for the win. Antoh Catanese went 2-for-4 with a double, triple and three RBI.

Ag. Science 11, Evergreen Park 7: Prince DeMarco went 3-for-3 with an RBI and three runs. Mark Bergen (2-0) was the winning pitcher.

Antioch 4-17, Westosha 2-7: In Game 1, Alex Grimm went 2-for-3 with a triple and an RBI. In Game 2, Joe Gregory went 4-for-4 with a triple, two doubles and four RBI.

Argo 12, Rich South 0: Brandon Palmer went 2-for-3 with three RBI to lead Argo (8-7). Tony Noto struck out five in the complete-game win.

Aurora Christian 10, St. Edward 8: Winning pitcher Brent Minta (5-0) went 1-for-3 with a homer, three RBI and Bobby Kuntzendorf went 3-for-3 with two homers and four RBI.

Brother Rice 2-3, Loyola 0-2: Ryan Koziol (3-1) pitched a complete game in the first half of the double header, allowing four hits and fanning eight. In game two Brian McQuillan (1-1) pitched three innings, struck out three and allowing no hits. At the plate, McQuillian drove in the game-winning run.

Burlington Central 14, Marengo 0: Sam Klein went 4-for-4 with a double and two RBI for Burlington Central (11-4, 4-1). Joey Lange went 3-for-3 with two RBI.

Clemente 2, Lake Zurich 0: Winning pitcher Chris Simon (2-1) struck out 10 for Clemente (9-4). Jeremiah Figueroa went 1-for-3 with a homer and an RBI.

Corliss 9, Washington 7: Winning pitcher Deonte Branch went 6 1/3 and struck out 10. James Heath was 3-for-4 with a double and four RBI.

Glenbrook North 2, New Trier 1: Alex Hermeling (4-1) struck out 11 in the win for Glenbrook North. Brett Synek went 2-for-3 with a double and one run. Jason School went 1-for-3 with a double, RBI and one run.

Glenbrook South 8, Highland Park 4: Josiah Carlson (4-0) fanned seven in the win for Glenbrook South (15-5, 6-1 Central Suburban South). Chris Szafranski went 3-for-4 with two RBI.

Gordon Tech 5-4, Bishop McNamara 0-6: Dakota Pisarek tossed a complete-game no-hitter for Gordon Tech (7-11, 1-2 Catholic White), striking out 10.

Holy Trinity 10, Wells 4: Juan Jacobo 4-for-4 with two doubles and six RBI.

Huntley 10, Grayslake North 2: Nick Corpolongo went 4-for-5 with an RBI and one run. Colin Lyman went 2-for-3 with a homer and three RBI. Carlos Alvarez went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer.

Kenwood 16, Brooks 3: Jose Hinojosa gave up five hits and struck out six in the win for Kenwood (4-9, 3-4 Jackie Robinson South). Joba Ferrell went 3-for-5 with a triple, double and seven RBI. Brad Krzesinski went 3-for-5 with a homer, double and five RBI.

Lemont 11, Beecher 5: Kevin Goergen went 3-for-5 with a homer and six RBI. Josh Ferry struck out five and allowed just one in the win for Lemont (9-6).

Leyden 16-11, Willowbrook 5-1: In Game 1, Eric Palmer (4-0) struck out eight for Leyden (18-1, 12-1 West Suburban Gold). Carlos Olavarria went 2-for-3 and scored three runs. Adrian Ruiz went 3-for-5 with a triple, double and three RBI and Don Marino homered. In Game 2, winning pitcher Justin Stawychny (4-1) fanned nine. Olavarria went 3-for-4 with two RBI. Plainfield North 13-4, Plainfield East 1-1: Brian Evak went 2-for-4 with a homer and four RBI to power No. 3 Plainfield North (18-0, 11-0 Southwest Prairie) in Game 1. Matt Fenza went 2-for-2 with an RBI. Jake Ready (2-0) struck out 11 and allowed just four hits in the complete-game win in Game 2. Patrick Cashman went 2-for-3 with a homer, double and RBI.

Plainfield South 12, Yorkville 1: Victor Garcia went 3-for-4 with two homers and four RBI.

T.F. South 11, Bremen 9: Kevin Hallberg hit the game-winning homer for T.F. South (10-7, 8-2 South Suburban Blue).

Vernon Hills 4, Wheeling 0: Pat Crowley (4-0) picked up the win for Vernon Hills.

Waubonsie Valley 12-19, East Aurora 4-1: In Game 1, Waubonsie Valley (8-9, 7-5, Upstate Eight Valley) was led by Harry Vickers (3-for-4, RBI), Kyle Limanowski (2-for-2, RBI), Ryan Vega (2-for-3, homer, two RBI). In Game 2, Matt Risch (1-0) was the winning pitcher, Joey Cuzzone went 2-for-2 with a grand slam, double and six RBI and Limanowski went 3-for-3 with a homer, double and three RBI.
