Aurora Christian 9, Plano 7: Kenny McCracken was 2-for-4 with a homer, four RBI and a run scored while Brent Minta had two hits of his own with a homer and three RBI in the win for Aurora Christian.

Cary-Grove 10, Grayslake North 2: Mann Panek (3-0) struck out 12 in a complete-game effort for Cary-Grove (12-6, 9-4 Fox Valley Valley). He also was 2-for-4 with a homer and three RBI while Michael Valardo had a pair of home runs and four RBI.

De La Salle 4, St. Ignatius 0: Pat Haynes fanned seven to earn the win while Anthony Shimkus and Sal Romando each went 2-for-3 for De La Salle (13-4). Jabari Brown added two hits.
