Cary-Grove 14, Grayslake North 4: Nick Richter and Alex Wians went 3-for-3 with two RBI each. Kevin Weber (2-0) was the winning pitcher for Cary-Grove (11-6, 8-4 Fox Valley Valley).

Kaneland 2, Yorkville 0: Winning pitcher Bobby Thorson (3-1) fanned 11 in the complete-game win for Kaneland (11-4, 7-0). He also hit a home run.

Lincoln-Way East 9, Joliet Central 0: Jake Bosch (2-1) struck out 11 in the complete-game win for Lincoln-Way East (12-4).

Lisle 3, Westmont 2: Nick Olson went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI. Ryan Burlison struck out 11 and allowed just two hits.

Loyola 14, St. Ignatius 4: Jack Richmond (1-1) fanned eight to pick up the win for Loyola (7-9, 6-1 Catholic Blue). Logan Spurlin went 3-for-3 with two homers and five RBI. Willy Palivos went 2-for-3 with a run and two stolen bases.

Minooka 8, Oswego 6: Alex Bebar went 1-for-2 with a homer, three RBI, two runs and one walk. Dan Fox went 1-for-4 with a triple, two RBI and one run.

Plainfield Central 16, Oswego East 2: Nick Woltkamp went 3-for-4 with a homer, double and five RBI. Brandon Mackowiak went 2-for-4 with a homer, double and four RBI.

Plano 18, Coal City 8: Alex Ramirez was the winning pitcher and also went 2-for-5 from the plate with a homer. Angel Castellanos went 4-for-5 with a homer, three RBI and three runs. Devin Ambrose went 4-for-5 with two RBI. Trent Bowers went 3-for-5 with a homer, two RBI and three runs.

South Elgin 4, Waubonsie Valley 3: Kenny Lowden went 1-for-3 and drove in the game-winning RBI for South Elgin (11-3-1). Chris Bingham struck out 11 and registered the win.
