Mundelein 11, Prairie Ridge 1: Dante Martinez (5-0) allowed four hits in four innings for No. 2 Mundelein (15-0). Nick Gaftfield was 2-for-3 with a home run and a double. Chris Maranto went 2-for-2 with a two-run homer and a triple. Billy McMahon also hit a homer.

Nazareth 5-1, Carmel 2-2: Dominic Purpura (5-0) earned the win while Matt Radford was 3-for-3 with a RBI for No. 4 Nazareth (15-2).

Mount Carmel 11, Brother Rice 1: Chris Sujka was 3-for-4 with a homer and a triple to go along with his seven RBI for No. 5 Mount Carmel (18-1, 6-0 Catholic Blue). John Kravetz allowed one earned over five to get the win.

St. Laurence 8, Providence 5: Charlie Naso (3-0) struck out eight for No. 10 St. Laurence (17-3, 7-0 Catholic Blue) in the upset win over top-ranked Providence. Bryan Villanova had a grand slam and drove in six RBI in the win.

Addison Trail 10-14, Proviso West 0-4: AJ Line (1-0) grabbed the win in Game 2 and hit a grand slam at the plate for Addison Trail (6-8). In Game 2, Steven Gilliam also hit a grand slam.

Aurora Christian 13-16, Indian Creek 1-1: Winning pitcher Kenny McCracken (3-0) helped his cause at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored. Mitch Holtz (4-2) earned the win in Game 2, while Bobby Kutzendorf went 2-for-3 with three RBI.

Barrington 3, Jones 1: Mike Weisshapple (1-1) struck out eight in a complete game for Barrington (2-14).

De La Salle 9-12, Bishop McNamara 8-7: Anthony Shimkus had a pair of doubles in Game 1 and Mark Munizzi added a home run for De La Salle (12-4, 5-3 Catholic White). Zach Wiseman drove in four RBI in Game 2.

Evergreen Park 12-12, Shepard 9-7: Evergreen Park was led by Dan Cronin (SV, 1-for-3, HR, 2 R), Kevin Schwer (2-for-3, HR, 2 RBI) and Josh Venheizun (1-for-3, 2 RBI, 2 R) In Game 2, Tervor Mlot (WP, 4 IP, 4 ER, 5 H, 4 K), Dillon Knight (2-for-2, RBI, 2 R), Venheizun (4-for-5, HR, 5 RBI) and Schwer (2-for-5, 3 RBI, R) led the way.

Glenbrook North 10, Fremd 7: Adam Becker hit a home run for Glenbrook North (14-1).

Glenbrook South 15, Prospect 3: Josiah Carlson (3-0) earned the win while Cody Libman was 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI for Glenbrook South (12-3).

Grayslake Central 5, Grayslake North 2: Mark Ash fanned seven in a complete-game effort for Grayslake Central.

Huntley 6, St. Viator 4: Bryan Doherty (3-0) was credited for the win for Huntley (13-1) (5 IP, 6 H, 3 ER, 4 R, 4 K).

Lake Forest 13, Waukegan 2: Zach Lucas finished 3-for-3 with two homers and five RBI for Lake Forest (5-8).

Leyden 1-5, Downers South 0-6: Eric Palmer (3-0) pitched a no-hitter in Game 1 for Leyden (13-1, 7-1 West Suburban Gold.

Loyola 11, St. Rita 10, 8 inn.: Eric Hagman was 3-for-4 with a grand slam while Logan Spurln drove in the game-winning run for Loyola (6-8, 5-0 Catholic Blue).

Minooka 5, Glenbard South 4: Nick Fleischauer went 2-for-3 with an RBI at the plate. Carson Neuschwander added two RBI.

Morton 7-16, Proviso East 1-11: Victor Cuellar struck out 18 and allowed just two hits for Morton in Game 1. Joe Kadela had a pair of triples with a RBI and three runs scored. In Game 2 Cuellar ripped a homer and drove in two RBI.

Naperville North 6, West Aurora 2: Mariano Long fanned 11 in a complete-game win. Long also had a big day at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a home run. Alex Moss had a home run, RBI and scored two runs for Naperville North (5-8, 2-4).

New Trier 15, Barrington 6: Eric West recorded a three-run homer and scored three times for New Trier.

New Trier 11, Jones 4: Ken Gerner was 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI while Eddie Fay was 2 of 5 with two RBI for New Trier (9-4).

Niles North 9, Lake View 7: Adam Warda was 4-for-4 with a homer, two doubles and three RBI for Niles North (11-9). Matt McTague added three hits and three RBI.

Niles North 12, Maine East 5: Warda smashed a grand slam and stole two bases while McTague had two hits and two RBI. Clark Fox was 4-for-4 with a triple, two doubles and two RBI.

Notre Dame 5-7, Marian Catholic 4-4: Jack Wietlispach ripped a home run and drove in two RBI for Notre Dame (10-7, 3-1 East Suburban Catholic) in Game 1 and Alex Babusci had two hits including a homer also. In Game 2 Wietlispach was 3-for-4 with a RBI and two runs scored.

Plainfield Central 9, Oswego 4: Nick Woltkamp had two hits and a RBI for Plainfield Central (4-13, 2-7 Southwest Prairie).

Plano 13, Sandwich 8: Alex Ramirez smashed a pair of home runs and drove in four for Plano.

Reavis 14, Eisenhower 4: Zack Nackowiak pitched four innings, allowed four hits and struck out five for Reavis (9-7, 6-2 South Suburban Red). David Beltran went 1-for-2 with a homer and four RBI. Rob Rabakozi was 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI.

Riverside-Brookfield 8-5, Elmwood Park 1-3: JT Evans pitched a no-hitter, striking out eight for Riverside-Brookfield (10-6-1, 6-3 Metro Suburban) in Game 1 while TJ Bongiomo had three hits including a triple and a double. Adam Kuta struck out seven in Game 2 while Vito Derango drove in a pair of RBI.

St. Ignatius 14, St.Joseph 4: Winning pitcher Conor Knapp was 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBI. Bill Boyle cranked two homers and drove in four runs. Chris Costello went 3-for-3 and scored three runs.

South Elgin 7-14, Waubonsie Valley 4-3: John Menken was 3-for-4 with two runs scored for South Elgin in Game 1 while Jake Buhman contributed with a homer, two RBI and two runs scored. In Game 2, Andrew Weedman drove in four while Menken had a homer and recorded three RBI.

T.F. South 14, T.F. North 6: Tyler Sindwald hit for the cycle, recording four RBI for T.F. South (8-6, 6-1 South Suburban Blue).

Tinley Park 9, Oak Lawn 6: Andrew Sebastian was the winning pitcher for Tinley Park (12-5).
