Providence 7, Gordon Tech 3: David Hearne earned the victory for No.1 Providence (14-0, 4-0 Catholic Blue) going four innings and allowing no runs and five hits while striking out six.

Nazareth 5, Wheaton Academy 4: Ed Gengo (2-0) pitched No.4 Nazareth (13-1) to the victory, going four innings and giving up two earned runs and four hits. Anthony Baldassano finished 4-for-4 with four RBI.

St. Rita 7, Fenwick 5: Eddie DeLaRiva (7-0) led No.6 St. Rita (16-1, 4-0 Catholic League Blue) to the win, pitching 5 2/3 innings and allowing five earned runs and seven hits while striking out four. Stefano Belmonte finished 3-for-3 with a homer and Nico Zych went 3-for-3 with an RBI.

Streamwood 4, Batavia 0: Josh Harris pitched a complete game for Streamwood (13-0), allowing three hits and striking out 12. Pat Manning finished 1-for-4 with a double, walk, RBI, and run scored.

St. Laurence 11, St. Joseph 0: Nick Altobella pitched five innings, allowing two hits and striking out 13 for No.10 St. Laurence (15-3, 6-0 Catholic League Blue). Kevin Smith went 2-for-3 with three RBI.

Addison Trail 6, Morton 2: Anthony Milazzo pitched a complete game and allowed two runs and six hits while striking out 11 for Addison Trail (4-7, 2-5 West Suburban Gold). Alex Vargas finished 2-for-2 with two doubles and two runs scored.

Barrington 6, Conant 5: Ricky Alfonso went 2-for-4 with three RBI for Barrington (1-12, 1-1 Mid-Suburban League).

Beecher 8, Momence; Chuck Karl pitched Beecher (8-3-2) to the win. Karl Redus was 4-for-5 with two doubles.

Huntley 11, McHenry 10: Craig Klein (3-0) pitched Huntley to the win. Carlos Alvarez finished 2-for-3 with an RBI.

Illiana Christian 5, Timothy Christian 0: Spencer Alton powered Illiana Christian (7-5, 4-0 Metro Suburban) to the win going 3-for-3 with an RBI.

Kaneland 10, DeKalb 2: Bobby Thorson (3-1) earned the win for Kaneland, pitching a complete game and allowing two earned runs and six hits while striking out eight.

Lakes 10, Wauconda 0: Nick Hibbing (3-1) pitched Lakes (7-7, 2-1 North Suburban Prairie) to the win going five innings and scattering three hits while striking out nine. Chris Hoffman went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Lisle 2, St. Edward 1, 9 inn.: Ty Howel hit the game-winning RBI for Lisle (12-4), driving in Nick Thome.

Manteno 8, Westmont 3: J.J. Witherow went 3-for-4 with a triple, double, and two RBI for Manteno (14-3, 5-0).

Montini 5, Chicago Christian 4, 10 inn.: Jim Gretchell hit the game-wiining RBI for Montini (12-5, 4-4 Suburban Christian Blue) and finished 2-for-4.

Niles West 3, Highland Park 2: Jason Merger (3-0) pitched a complete game for Niles West (13-2, 2-0 Central Suburban South), allowing two runs and five hits while striking out nine. Max Markoff was 2-for-4 from the plate, including the game-winning double and two RBI.

Plano 11, Dwight 1: Plano (9-7, 3-1) was led by Alex Ramirez's ten strikeouts. He also went 2-for-2 with three RBI. Angel Castellanos had two doubles.

Reavis 12, Eisenhower 1: Jake Stano went 2-for-4 with a homer, double, and three RBI for Reavis (8-6, 5-1 South Suburban Red). Rob Rabakozi finished 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI.

Richards 7, Argo 6: Jim Augle went 2-for-3 with two runs scored for Richards (10-4, 5-1 South Suburban Red).

Ridgewood 10, Fenton 8: John Caravia went 4-for-5 with two stolen bases for Ridgewood (4-8, 2-4 Metro Suburban Red).

Riverside-Brookfield 5, Elmwood Park 1: David Tortorici pitched a complete game, allowing an earned run and striking out seven for Riverside-Brookfield (7-6-1, 4-3 Metro Suburban).

Stevenson 6, Lake Forest 4, 9 inn.: Stevenson (9-2, 5-0) was led by Ricky Kern's homer and Steve Galanopoulos's game-winning RBI.

Yorkville 1. Rochelle 0: Stephen Tom pitched a complete game for Yorkville (10-4, 2-2 Northern Illinois Big 12 East), giving up two hits and striking out six.
