Mount Carmel 16, St. Francis de Sales 4: Jack Houser (1-0) struck out three to earn the win for No. 5 Mount Carmel (14-1). Tom Hayes was 4-for-4 with a grand slam, two doubles and seven RBI.

Corliss 9, Hyde Park 4: Deonte Branch struck out eight and had two hits at the plate for Corliss (8-7, 3-2 Minnie Minoso). Nick Jones was 2-for-3 with a RBI.

T.F. North 4, Bloom 2: Sergio Esquivia struck out seven while Bill Wilson was 2-for-4 with a double and a RBI for T.F. North (4-10).

Thornwood 13, Thornton 12: Thornwood (4-8, 2-0 SouthWest Suburban Red) captured a victory with the aid of Robert Blissitt (2-for-3, 3 R), Maceo Taylor (1-for-2, 3 RBI) and Bryant Moore (game-winning RBI).
