Mundelein 12, Lake Forest 5: Dante Martinez picked up the win on the mound for No. 2 Mundelein (13-0). Luis Carrasco went 4-for-5 with a double and four RBI. Chris Maranto went 2-for-3.

Mount Carmel 6, St. Ignatius 4: Frank Kelly struck out four for No. 5 Mount Carmel (12-1, 2-0 Catholic Blue). Jerry Houston went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI. Tyler Lourisch went 1-for-1 with a double and two RBI.

St. Rita 12, Gordon Tech 5: Stefano Belmonte went 2-for-3 with two doubles and three RBI for No.6 St Rita (12-1, 1-0 Catholic Blue). Connor McClain went 3-for-4 with two doubles and three runs. Zack Soria went 1-for-2 with two RBI, four runs and three stolen bases.

Simeon 15, Harlan 0: Corey Ray homered and Albert Dunnigan picked up the win on the mound, striking out five in six innings for No. 7 Simeon (10-1).

Streamwood 8, Metea Valley 2: Josh Harris went 2-for-2 with a homer, two RBI and one run for No. 9 Streamwood (12-0). Dalton Lundeen (4-0) struck out five in the complete-game win.

St. Laurence 8, Fenwick 1: Mike Chimera tossed a complete-game win for No. 10 St. Laurence (11-2, 2-0 Catholic White).

Ag. Science 16, South Shore 0: Charlie Ward tossed a no hitter, striking out 11 and walking one for Ag. Science (7-4). Mark Taylor went 3-for-3 with five RBI.

Andrew 9, Lincoln-Way West 0: Ryan McCullum was the winning pitcher for Andrew (9-5). Chris Gomulka homered and Dan Durkin drove in three runs.

Brother Rice 3, Bishop McNamara 2: Mike Yacko fanned 15 and allowed four hits in the complete-game win for Brother Rice (4-6, 1-1 Catholic Blue).

Clemente 8, Taft 7: Winning pitcher Felix DeJesus (1-0) doubled and had three RBI. Jeremiah Figueroa went 2-for-2 with a triple and four RBI.

Hersey 10, Elk Grove 3: Trevor Hass struck out five in the complete-game win for Hersey (6-4).

Homewood-Flossmoor 7, Joliet Central 5: Chris Michaels went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases.

Illiana Christian 21, T.F. North 1: Mark Lyzenga went 4-for-5 with three homers and nine RBI for Illiana Christian (5-3, 3-0 Metro Suburban).

Julian 10, Hyde Park 3: Vernell Pondexter (1-0) struck out eight in the win for Julian. Robyn Pondexter went 3-for-4, while Jerron Rogers went 2-for-3 with a homer and three RBI.

Kelly 19, Sullivan 1: Edgar Trejo went 3-for-3 with six RBI.

Kenwood 13, Curie 6: Jose Hinojosa was the winning pitcher for Kenwood (2-8, 1-3 Jackie Robinson South).

King 20, Harper 2: Kevyn White (1-0) gave up just one hit and fanned five in the win for King (4-2, 2-1).

Lake View 11, Mather 2: Adam Rivera tossed a complete game, surrendering three hits and striking out four for Lake View (4-7, 2-0 Jackie Robinson North). Naythen Camacho had two hits including a grand slam and five RBI and Yaseen Santiago was 2-for-4 with a double.

Larkin 7, Bartlett 2: Miguel Villafane went 2-for-4 with three RBI and Austin Royse (3-0) was the winning pitcher for Larkin (7-5, 2-3 Upstate Eight River).

Leyden 7, Glenbrook South 1: Justin Stawyschny went 2-for-3 with a homer and three RBI. Eric Palmer went 3-for-4 with three RBI for Leyden (10-0).

Little Village 3, Tilden 1: Luis Brizuela fanned 18 in the complete-game win for Little Village (3-0).

Lockport 8, Joliet West 5: Tommy Hook and Brendan Dunleavy each homered for Lockport (6-3, 1-0 SouthWest Suburban Blue). Matt Skrzpiec and Austin Mastela each doubled and drove in to RBI.

Loyola 11, De La Salle 6: Winning pitcher Jon Savarise (1-2) fanned eight and went 2-for-3. Fred Smart went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer. Matt Fallon went 3-for-4 with two runs.

Marian Catholic 6, T.F. South 1: Josh Pieper went 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs for Marian Catholic (11-2). Brett Lilek went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Montini 8, Northridge 5: Jared Jayne belted the game-winning three-run homer for Montini (10-4). Marco Sarno picked up the win on the mound.

Morgan Park 16, Brooks 2: Dejohn Suber went 3-for-4 with a double and four RBI for Morgan Park (6-3, 3-1 Jackie Robinson South).

Schurz 11, Lane 10: Giovanny Duarte went 3-for-4 with a homer and Nathaniel Hernandez drove in the game-winning RBI for Schurz (4-6).

Steinmetz 14, Amundsen 11: Joey Cornell went 5-for-5 with two homers, a triple and eight RBI for Steinmetz (6-7). Emanuel Alvarez was the winning pitcher.

Stevenson 12, Zion-Benton 2: Ricky Kern went 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBI for Stevenson (8-2, 4-0 North Suburban Lake). The winning pitcher was Dalsen Ferbert (2-0).

TEAM Englewood 12, DuSable 6: Deangelo Rocquemore (1-0) was the winning pitcher for TEAM Englewood (2-2, 1-2 Ron Santo). Isaiah King-Wilson went 3-for-4 with a triple, two doubles and four RBI. Willie Danner went 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBI.

Thornwood 9, Thornton 2: Mike Beyer went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run for Thornwood (3-8, 1-0 SouthWest Suburban Red). Lorado Adkins went 2-for-3 with an RBI and one run.

Wheaton North 8, West Chicago 3: Kevin Fahy went 2-for-4 with a homer, RBI and two runs. Dale Trimble went 3-for-3 with a double, RBI and three runs.
