Mundelein 9, Lake Forest 1: Ben Mahar (5-0) threw a three-hitter and fanned 11 as the No. 2 Mustangs (12-0, 3-0) rolled in the North Suburban Lake. Luis Carrasco (3-for-4) and Billy McMahon (1-for-3, 2 RBI) paced the Mundelein attack.

Plainfield North 4, Oswego East 3: The No. 3 Tigers (10-0, 4-0 Southwest Prairie) won in eight innings as Sean Renzi (3-0) was 2-for-3 with a homer and fanned 11 over seven innings. Brian Evak was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI for North.

Simeon 12, Curie 1: Quincy Collins (3-0) pitched seven-hit ball over five innings as the No. 7 Wolverines (11-1, 4-0 Jackie Robinson South) won in six innings. Robert Fletcher (2-for-3, double, triple, 4 RBI), Darius Day (2-for-3, homer, 3 runs), Blake Hickman (2-for-4, 2 doubles) and Malik Simmons (2-for-4, double, 2 RBI) led the Simeon offense.

De La Salle 14, Lake View 1: Zach Wiseman doubled and hit a two-run homer for the No. 12 Meteors (9-1). Pat Haynes was 3-for-3 with a double and Roe Coleman went 2-for-4 with a triple for De La Salle.

Stevenson 5. Zion-Benton 0: Isaac Greenspan (3-0) pitched a two-hit shutout, striking out nine and walking five, to lead the No. 14 Patriots (7-2, 3-0 North Suburban Lake). jack Karras was 4-for-4 with a run and an RBI for Stevenson, while Jacob Sholl finished 2-for-2 with an RBI.

Antioch 12, Round Lake 5: Joe Gregory was 2-for-4 with a homer and two RBI to pace Antioch (7-2) in the North Suburban Prairie.

Argo 6, Shepard 0: Jordan Ashley (2-0) pitched a three-hitter as the Argonauts evened their South Suburban Red record at 2-2. Dustin Krob was 3-for-4 and Cohen Piecohinski finished 2-for-3 with two runs.

Bremen 19, T.F. North 8: Joe Lyons was 3-for-5 with two homers and five RBI to power the Braves (12-4, 4-0 South Suburban Blue).

Crete-Monee 6, Kankakee 2: Mike Jamison was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI to pace the Warriors (3-7, 1-2) to the Southland win. Tirone Rogers was 2-for-3 with a triple, a run and an RBI for Crete, while Jonathan Fasel fanned six in five innings for the victory.

Downers Grove South 7, Willowbrook 2: Nick Vanek earned the win for the Mustangs.

Evanston 13, Highland Park 7: Noah Doppelt had two singles and a two-run homer to spark the Wildkits (7-4). Mark Johnson was 3-for-5 with three RBI for Evanston and Justin Kleschen improved to 4-1.

Glenbard South 8, Ridgewood 2: Brian Suffern (4-0) pitched a complete game to lead Glenbard South (6-5, 3-1) to the Metro Suburban win.

Glenbard West 12, Morton 2: Ben Krusen (1-2) pitched three-hit ball over five innings and was 3-for-3 with a double to lead the Hilltoppers (3-8).

Glenbrook North 9, Maine South 5: Jason Schol was 2-for-3 with two runs scored and five RBI, and Brett Ynek was 4-for-4 with two runs scored as the Spartans moved to 11-1. Sean Thomas (3-0) fanned four in six innings.

Glenbrook South 5, Maine East 0: Josiah Carlson (3-0) pitched a four-hitter with 11 strikeouts as the Titans moved to 9-2.

Herscher 13, Peotone 3: Justin Ruckman (3-0) struck out 11 and gave up three hits in five innings as the Tigers (13-1) rolled.

IMSA 8, Luther North 1: Neel Patel 4-1) pitched a one-hitter with 12 strikeouts and was 2-for-4 with two RBI to pace IMSA (6-4, 5-0 Northeastern Athletic). Sam Kaufman was 2-for-5 with two runs.

Kaneland 11, Rochelle 1: Sam Komel was 2-for-3 with a triple, two runs and four RBI for the Knights (6-4, 2-0 Northern Illinois Big 12 East).

Leyden 2, Addison Trail 0: Sandro Irizarry (2-0) went the distance and Justin Stawychny and Eric Palmer drove in runs for unbeaten Leyden (9-0).

Lindblom 8, Kennedy 0: Lorenzo Chavez pitched a two-hitter with 10 strikeouts and no walks as Lindblom (4-5-1, 2-1 Ernie Banks) blanked Kennedy.

Manteno 10, Dwight 2: J.J. Witherow drove in two runs and scored another as the Panthers (12-2, 3-2) rolled to the Interstate Eight win.

Marist 9, Harlan 3: Cody Bohanek and Jayson Gorski each had three hits and Bohanek drove in three runs for the RedHawks (4-9). Mike Annerino (2-1) fanned six in five innings.

Montini 6, Walther Lutheran 1: Anthony Reaber (3-1) pitched a seven-hitter and Frank Montalto homered twice, singled and drove in three runs for the Broncos (9-4, 2-3 Suburban Christian Blue).

New Trier 8, Niles North 0: Brian Kost gave up three hits over six innings to lead the Trevians (7-3).

Niles West 10, Maine West 3: Kyle Colletta was 3-for-4 with two runs and an RBI as Niles West improved to 12-2. Kenny Blanchard (2-0) pitched a six-hitter and struck out four.

Notre Dame 12, Loyola 4: Justin Sanetra was 2-for-4 with a triple and three RBI for the Dons (7-6) in the nonconference win. Cody Neidenbach homered for Notre Dame.

Oak Lawn 13, Evergreen Park 3: Mark Volanti drove in five runs with a homer and a single for the Spartans (7-5, 3-2 South Suburban Red). Bob Kametas (2-1) fanned 11 in five innings.

Oak Park-River Forest 13, Downers Grove North 2: Nick Kowalczuk singled and hit a three-run homer for the Huskies (8-4, 3-3 West Suburban Silver).

Orr 8, North Lawndale 5: Adrian Barreto (2-1) went the distance and fanned 15 to pace Orr (3-3, 3-0 Ozzie Guillen).

Perspectives-Calumet 15, Bowen 2: Winning pitcher Steven Colyer was 3-for-4 with four RBI as Calumet (4-4, 3-0 Carlton Fisk) cruised.

Plano 5, Seneca 1: Alex Ramirez drove in two runs and winning pitcher Codt Dryden (1-2) fanned six for the Reapers (7-6).

Prosser 10, Roosevelt 0: Brandon Feliciano picked up the win for Prosser (4-5, 1-3 Jackie Robinson Central).

Rich Central 17, Rich South 7: Winning pitcher Brandon Fowler (3-0) was 4-for-5 with five RBI to pace the Olympians (9-1-1, 3-0 Southland). Nick Collins was 3-for-5 with four RBI and Matt Cole went 3-for-5 with three RBI.

Richards 7, Eisenhower 3: Joe Lyons was 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run for the Bulldogs (8-4, 3-1 South Suburban Red), while Jon Danielson (1-1) pitched a seven-hitter.

Rich East 8, Bloom 0: Aaron Lewis was 3-for-4 with three runs and two RBI as the Rockets (3-3, 2-1 Southland) blanked the Blazing Trojans. Jason Douglass pitched a one-hitter and struck out six.

Robeson 8, Gage Park 7: Rashard Smith was 3-for-4 with a double, three RBI and two steals for Robeson (3-2, 2-1 Carlton Fisk). Dante Davis went the distance for the win, fanning eight.

Schaumburg 9, St. Viator 8: Jeremy Hall delivered the game-winning, two-run single in the eighth inning for the Saxons (6-1). Matt Brancato fanned seven in six innings and was 2-for-3 with three runs and an RBI.

St. Francis 3, Marian Central 2: Jack Roback (3-0) went the distance, fanning nine and walking none, and was 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI for St. Francis (12-3).

Taft 8, Schurz 1: James Flammang (2-for-3, double, 3 runs) and Ray Cekus (2-for-4, RBI, 2 runs) paced Taft (5-1) to the win. Winning pitcher Alex Rodriguez fanned seven in 5 1/3 innings.

T.F. South 17, Hillcrest 0: Cody Krilich went 3-for-3 with three RBI and three runs to lead the Rebels (6-4, 4-0 South Suburban Blue). Isaiah Riley (1-0) struck out eight.

Vernon Hills 3, Lakes 1: Tyler Feece (3-0) got the win, and Brian Palmer and Tyler Coppney drove in runs with squeeze bunts as the Cougars downed the Eagles.

West Chicago 3, Wheaton North 2: Joe Loftus struck out eight in six innings for West Chicago (6-4, 1-1 DuPage Valley).

Westmont 13, Sandwich 7: Cody Danielski had four hits, three runs and three RBI to power the Sentinels.

Wheaton Academy 8, Guerin 2: Ryan Kramer (2-0) struck out six and walked one in six innings for Wheaton Academy. John McKenna and J.D. Joiner boith went 3-for-4 for the winners.
