Nazareth 10, Elmwood Park 0: Dominic Purpura pitched No.4 Nazareth (12-1) to the win, going six innings and allowing just one hit while striking out 10. Patrick Kelly led the offense going 2-for-2 and Rob Petrak finished 1-for-1 with an RBI.
Bowen 11, Hirsch 1 : Juwon Jones pitched a no-hitter for Bowen (2-4-1, 2-0 Carlton Fisk). Justin Lee went 3-for-3 with a homer and two RBI.
Buffalo Grove 8, Maine South 1: Kevin Dembinski went five innings allowing three hits and striking out four in the Buffalo Grove (5-6) win. Tom Ricciardi finished 2-for-3 with two doubles and four RBI.
Clemente 4, Von Steuben 2: Chris Simon was the winning pitcher for Clemente (5-3), allowing three hits and striking out six. He also went 1-for-3 with a double and RBI. Saul Garcia finished 2-for-3 with two RBI.
Foreman 6, Steinmetz 0: Eric Noe pitched a complete game for Foreman (2-5), striking out 12 and scattering three hits.
Glenbrook North 4, Hoffman Estates 1: Jason Pomeroy (3-0) pitched six innings, giving up a run and seven hits while striking out five. Brett Synek went 2-for-4 with a double and Sean Thomas finished 2-for-4 with three RBI in the Glenbrook North (10-1) victory.
Holy Trinity 6, Northtown 1: Jerry Silva (2-1) struck out 11 in a complete game effort for Holy Trinity (5-3, 3-0 Chicago Prep). Alex Gomez finished 3-for-3 with three doubles.
Jones 14, Kenwood 4: Joe Casa finished 2-for-3 with two runs scored and Max Puidak went 3-for-3 with three runs scored for Jones (7-2).
Lake Forest 9, Highland Park 6: Chris Godinez went 3-for-4 with three RBI for Lake Forest (4-4). He also picked up the save.
Lake Park 12, Larkin 1: Kevin Speger went five innings, giving up three hits and striking out five in the Lake Park (6-5) victory.
Lake View 13, Schurz 0: Yaseen Santiago (1-1) pitched a no-hitter for Lake View (3-6, 1-0 Jackie Robinson), including 12 strikeouts. Nathan Camacho powered the offense going 4-for-4 with a homer, triple, double, and five RBI. Justin Montalvo finished 2-for-2 and Josh Henry went 2-for-3.
Lane 11, Taft 4: Jackson Perri went 2-for-3 with a grand slam, triple, and seven RBI for Lane (3-4).
Leyden 5, Addison Trail 3: John Marino hit a home run and Carlos Olavarria drove in the game-winning hit for Leyden (8-0, 5-0 West Suburban Gold).
Lincoln-Way West 5, Bolingbrook 1: Mike Lagger finished 3-for-3 with a homer and three RBI for Lincoln-Way West (7-1). Dan Fifer went 2-for-3 with an RBI.
Lisle 6, Coal City 4: Ryan Van Bolkenberg (4-0) pitched 5 2/3 innings, giving up six hits and striking out seven in the Lisle (2-3, 1-0 Interstate Eight North) victory. Kavim Kahn led the offense going 2-for-4 with a double and run scored. Nick Olson also went 2-for-4 and scored two runs.
Marist 3, Reavis 2: John McKevitt (1-1) pitched a complete game, scattering five hits and striking out six. Ryan Meyer went 2-for-3 and Cody Bohanek had an RBI and a run scored.
Niles West 4, Barrington 2: Jason Merger (2-0) pitched a complete game for Niles West (11-2), allowing two earned runs and five hits. He also went 2-for-3 with an RBI. Brian Olen and Eric Stojanoff each finished 2-for-2.
Notre Dame 11, Maine East 0: Ryan Czazhor finished 2-for-2 with a triple for Notre Dame (6-6). Anthony Pope went 3-for-3 with three RBI.
Oak Forest 6, Tinley Park 2: Stephen Scatasa led Oak Forest (8-4) to victory going 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored. Andrew Skinner finished 2-for-2 with two RBI.
Payton 7, Mather 3: Jeremy Orloff earned the victory for Payton (7-5, 1-1 Jackie Robinson North) going six innings and giving up three runs and six hits while striking out seven.
Richards 6, Eisenhower 5: Joe Lyons (1-0) earned Richards (7-4, 2-1 South Suburban) the victory allowing one run and five hits while striking out five. He also led the offense finishing 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI.
Seton 20, Perspectives-Charter 10: Rodney Marshall powered Seton's (3-7) offense going 2-for-5 with two RBI and three runs scored. Will Thomas chipped in going 3-for-4 with a triple, double, and three runs scored. Eron Evans finished 2-for-4 with two RBI and three runs scored.
T.F. South 17, Hillcrest 0: Cody Krillich finished 2-for-5 with a two-run homer, three RBI, and two stolen bases for T.F. South (5-4, 3-0 South Suburban Blue).
Walther Lutheran 10, Montini 4: Dan Lodolce pitched Walther Lutheran (5-6) to the win. Chris Stevens powered the offense with three hits, including a homer.
Waubonsie Valley 3, Batavia 2: Mitch Stefani went seven ininngs and allowed five hits and two earned runs in the Waubonsie Valley (1-6) win. Kyle Limonowski hit the game-winning RBI.
Wheaton North 5, West Chicago 2: Eric Sandora (3-0) struck out eight in the Wheaton North (5-2, 1-0 DuPage Valley) win. Reece Butler finished 1-for-3 with two RBI.
