Mundelein 12, Evanston 2: Ryan Borucki (3-0) pitched No.5 Mundelein (11-0) to victory. John Devito led the offense going 4-for-4 with a homer, double, and two RBI. Luis Carrusco finished 3-for-4 with 2 RBI.

Nazareth 10, Gordon Tech 0: Ryan Marskey (3-0) gave up two hits and struck out two in five innings of work in No.3 Nazareth's (11-1) victory. Anthony Baldassano had a homer and four RBI while Kane Lombardo finished 2-for-2 and scored three times.

St. Laurence 10, Lockport 2: Nick Altobella (3-0) pitched 5 1/3 innings and struck out four in the win for No.7 St. Laurence (8-2). Kevin Smith went 2-for-3 with a homer and Kyle Wood went 2-for-3 and also homered. Mike Solofra went 3-for-3 with a double and RBI.

St. Rita 11, Stagg 0: No.6 St. Rita (10-1) was led by Eddie DeLaRiva (5-0) who struck out three and scattered three hits in the win. Zack Soria finished 2-for-2 with a double and three RBI. TJ Verdun was 1-for-1with a walk and an RBI and Scott Thomas went 1-for-2 with an RBI.

Andrew 13, Bremen 3: Dan Truesdale (2-1) pitched Andrew (8-4) to the win. Dan Durkin, Brian Cobb, and Mark Kane each had two-run homers.

Cary-Grove 9-9, Jacobs 8-6: Kevin Weber hit the game-winning RBI for Cary-Grove (7-3) in the first game. Alex Pose added a two-run homer. In the second game, Pose hit another two-run home run and Matt Panek went 2-for-4 with two doubles and four RBI.

Downers South 8-0, Willowbrook 0-2: Nick Vanek and John Lithio each homered for Downers South in Game 1. In Game 2, Andrew Hietpas had one triple while Jacob Wolf and Kevin Strelak each double.

Fenwick 4, Ridgewood 1: Jack McGann pitched a complete game for Fenwick (5-4), allowing four hits and striking out six.

Glenbrook North 11, Conant 1: Jason Scholl went 2-for-3 with two doubles and four RBI for Glenbrook North (9-1). Tyler Hurst went 2-for-2 with a double and two RBI. Sean Thomas went 2-for-4 with a triple, double and two runs.

Glenbrook South 4-10, St. Patrick 2-2: Luke Harrison fanned 15 in the complete-game win in Game 1 for Glenbrook South (8-2). In Game 2 Sam Koloms struck out four in six innings for the win.

Hinsdale Central 5-6, York 2-1: Winning pitcher Chris Bobo (1-1) fanned 12 and allowed six hits in the win for Hinsdale Central (4-7, 2-0 West Suburban Silver).

Holy Trinity 12, St. Benedict 1: Moi Diaz, Alex Gomez and Jerry Silva each went 2-for-3 for Holy Trinity (4-3).

IMSA 16-14, Christian Liberty 2-3: Neel Patel fanned 15 for the Game 1 win for IMSA (5-3, 4-0 Northeastern Atlantic). Winning pitcher John Hendricks struck out 12.

Leo 10, Morgan Park Academy 6: Clinton Hampton picked up the win and Phillip Byrd recorded the save in Game 1 for Leo (6-3-1). Aramis Johnson went 1-for-3 with two RBI. James Fagan went 1-for-3 with a triple and two RBI.

Leyden 11, Addison Trail 1: Justin Stawychny belted two homers and had five RBI for Leyden (7-0, 4-0 West Suburban Gold). John Marino homered and Nick Dimaso went 2-for-3 with three runs.

Maine South 6, Fremd 2: Pat Aloisio (1-0) picked up the complete-game win for Maine South (4-3). Kyle Richardson went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer and two RBI. John Fabiano went 1-for-3 with two RBI. Will Krug went 1-for-4 with an RBI and two runs.

Marmion 10, Naperville North 4: Tim Tarter (3-0) pitched six innings striking out seven and allowing four hits in the Marmion (8-3) win. He also went 2-for-3 with a double and RBI while Kyle Kozak finished 3-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored.

Naperville Central 3, Stevenson 2 : Blake Fiedelman went five innings, striking out four and allowing three hits and a run in the Naperville Central victory.

New Trier 3, Benet 2: Winning pitcher John Cook (2-1) fanned seven in the complete-game win for New Trier (5-3)

North Shore 10, U-High 6: Jake Gordon (1-1) earned the victory for North Shore (2-2).

Oak Lawn 14, Bloom 4: Kyle Smith (1-0) pitched four innings, struck out seven, and allowed only one hit in the Oak Lawn (5-5, 1-2 South Suburban Red) win. Joe Grey finished 3-for-3 with a double, four RBI, and a run scored.

Shepard 8, Thornwood 3: Justin Madrijal went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI for Shepard (4-6). David Flynn finished 2-for-2 with two RBI.

Simeon 5, Hersey 3: Darius Day (3-0) picked up the win on the mound and went 2-for-2 with two RBI from the plate for Simeon (9-1). Sharoid Roach hit a two-run double, Corey Ray went 2-for-4 and Elbert Dunnigan went 2-for-3.

South Elgin 7, Elgin 4: David Palmer was the winning pitcher for South Elgin (6-1).

T.F. North 10-10, Thornton 6-2: Travis Spencer went 2-for-4 with a homer and three RBI in Game 1 for T.F. North (3-6). In Game 2 Zachary Turner went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Timothy Christian 6, Lisle 2: Mark Penczak went 2-for-3 with a grad slam and six RBI.

Vernon Hills 5, Fenton 4: Ryan Lane pitched Vernon Hills to victory. Brian Palmer went 3-for-3 with an RBI and run scored.

Von Steuben 10, Niles North 2: Johnny Negron pitched six innings and gave up seven hits in the Von Steuben (10-1) win. Alex Lugo finished 3-for-3 with three RBI.

Waukegan 7, Wauconda 6: Conor Morrill belted a three-run homer for Waukegan (5-7). Anthony Timberlake finished 2-for-4.

Young 7-5, Barrington 4-2: In Game 1, Patrick Warner went 2-for-3 with three homers. Cole Keutzer had two RBI, Mark Brown went 3-for-3 with two doubles and Jarrett James went 3-for-3 with two doubles and two stolen bases. In Game 2, Tim Sonnefeldt (1-0) fanned eight in the complete-game win.
