Aurora Christian 10, Guerin 0: Bobby Kuntzendorf (2-0) was the winning pitcher for Aurora Christian (6-2). Brent Minta (3-for-3, two RBI, two runs), Kenny McCracken (two RBI) and Josh Haugen (2-for-4, two runs) also contributed to the win.
Bremen 11, Hillcrest 0: Chris Reeves (2-0) went five innings and fanned six batters for Bremen (9-2, 1-0 South Suburban Blue). Jim Miller was 2-for-2 with two walks and two RBI.
De La Salle 8, Marist 4, 9 innings: Roe Coleman went 3-for-4 with a homer and four runs. Pat Haynes added a double and two runs. Anthony Shimkus hit the game-winning single.
Eisenhower 15, Evergreen Park 5: Sergio Diaz De Sandy (2-0) fanned three in six innings for Eisenhower (2-2, 1-1 South Suburban Red).
Evanston 11, DeSales (Ky.) 1: Jordan Crawford allowed one one earned run in five innings for Evanston (5-1). Trevor Forde was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI.
Fremd 6, Crystal Lake Central 2: Sean Stutzman struck out 11 in the Fremd (3-2) win.
Glenbrook South 3, Rolling Meadows 2: Josiah Carlson pitched a complete game with eight strike outs for Glenbrook South (5-1). Cody Libman was 1-for-3 with two RBI.
Gordon Tech 11, Luther North 1: Seamus McDonaugh allowed one run on three hits with seven strikeouts in the Gordon Tech (2-2) win.
Harlan 11, Curie 1: Kyle Johnson (2-for-2, two RBI, two runs) and Darvon Sylvin (2-for-3, two runs) helped lead Harlan (7-3) to victory.
Illiana Christian 7, Manteno 5: Joe Heldt was 3-for-3 with a triple and three RBI for lliana Christian (3-2).
Julian 15, Longwood 8: Robyn Pondexter dominated with 10 strike outs. Dominique Jeter was 3-for-4 with four RBI. Vernell Pondexter added two RBI.
Lakes 3, Grayslake North 2: Nick Hibbing was the winning pitcher and Rob Thompson picked up the save for Lakes (3-3). Paul Kukulka was 2-for-2 with a run.
Marmion 7, Montini 0: Tim Tarter (2-0) allowed just with one hit to go with seven strikeouts in five innings for Marmion (5-2). Kyle Kozak had a home run and drove in three. AJ Friedman also added a run.
Morgan Park 2, Young 0: Morgan Park (4-3, 1-0 Jackie Robinson South) was led by Marcellus Sneed's nine strike outs in a complete game performance. Jeremiah Mansfield and Johnny Steveson each went 1-for-3 with one RBI.
Northside 12, Steinmetz 0: Tom Brekke went five innings to get the win for Northside (2-3).
Notre Dame 8, New Trier 7: Jeff Von Moser was 3-for-3 with two runs. Anthony Pope was 3-for-3 with two RBI and Jack Wietlispack added a home run.
Reavis 8, Argo 7: Reavis (4-4, 1-0 South Suburban Red) was led by Brandon Hines (2-for-4, triple, RBI) and Cameron Koepke (2-for-4, double, RBI).
Schaumburg 2, Bartlett 1: Kurt Kempema pitched six innings and struck out seven in the win for Schaumburg (4-1).
Simeon 12, Kenwood 0: Darius Day struck out nine for Simeon (7-1, 1-0 Jackie Robinson South). Blake Hickman was 3-for-3 with a triple and 4 RBI. Shane Brown added two RBI.
T.F. South 15, Crete-Monee 13: Cody Krilich knocked in the game-winning run for T.F.South (2-4).
Von Steuben 8, Mather 0: Von Steuben (8-0, 1-0 Jackie Robinson North) remained undefeated with help from Alex Lugo (3-for-4, double, two RBI) and Jacob Pagan (2-for-4, double, RBI).
