Brooks 11, St. Francis de Sales 2: Jesse Lopez struck out 10 and allowed two walks in the complete-game win for Brooks (2-0). James Jones went 2-for-3 with a homer, two RBI and two runs.

Corliss 20, Lindblom 5: Dantrell Meekins (1-0) picked up the win for Corliss (1-1). Cyntrell Dyson went 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBI.

Deerfield 7, Zion-Benton: Andrew Goldstick went 3-for-4 and scored two runs. Landon Cohen went 2-for-4 with an RBI. Ben Browdy went 1-for-2 with a two-run double.

Highland Park 10, Palatine 7: Max Allen picked up the win, allowing two hits and striking out five. Jason Goldstein went 2-for-2 with a double and two RBI. Chase Cunniff went 3-for-4 with two RBI.

Illiana Christian 7, Westmont 4: Braden Mulder struck out three in one inning for Illiana Christian (1-0). Jon Bertucci struck out two and picked up the save. Joe Heldt went 1-for-3 with two RBI and two runs. Spencer Allen went 1-for-2 with a triple.

IMSA 5, Paw Paw 3: Neel Patel fanned 12 in the win for IMSA (1-0). Brendan Wesp went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

Kelly 16, Phillips 1: Sal Izaguirre struck out seven and allowed zero hits in the win for Kelly (1-0). He also drove in two runs. Jauvi Albor homered and had one triple. Marco Batrez homered and drove in four.

Lincoln-Way Central 2, Marmion 1: Winning pitcher Matt Mikolajczak gave up one earned run in five innings pitched. Kevin DeMatteo went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and a double.

Lisle 12, Walther Lutheran 6: Ryan Van Volkenburg went 4-for-4 from the plate with one RBI and three runs. He was also the winning pitcher.

Montini 1, Hinsdale Central 0: Packey Barrett drove in the game-winning run for Montini (1-0). Anthony Reaber gave up zero hits and four walks and struck out two to pick up the victory.

Morgan Park 16, Fenger 0: Marcellus Sneed went 3-for-3 with five RBI. DeJohn Subr went 2-for-2 with three RBI. Rahman Williams was the winning pitcher.

Morton 4, Oak Lawn 1: Winning pitcher Joe Kadela allowed three hits and struck out three. Geno Dimaggio went 2-for-3 with a double, two RBI, run and a stolen base.

North Shore 9, Luther North 5: Jake Gordon (1-0) was the winning pitcher for North Shore (1-0).

Northridge 13, Prosser 7: Patrick O'Connor and Peter Kane each went 2-for-3 for Northridge (1-0).

Payton 6, Juarez 2: Alex Hurtado (1-0) was the winning pitcher for Payton (3-0).

Reavis 12, Thornwood 2: Winning pitcher Garret Rhodes fanned nine and allowed three hits for Reavis (1-0). Mike Falvo went 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs. Alex Morales drove in two runs, going 2-for-3 with a triple.

Simeon 12, Ag. Science 3: Quincy Collins allowed five hits and struck out four in the win for Simeon (2-0). Darien Clifton belted a three-run homer. Malik Simmons had a two-run double. Robert Fletcher went 2-for-4 with an RBI.

St. Rita 15, Bloomington 2: Eddie DeLaRiva tossed a no hitter and struck out five in the win for St. Rita (1-0). Jake Thome went 4-for-4 with a double and four RBI. Rick Faron and Stefano Belmonte hit a two-run double each.
