WW South 45, Wheaton North 14: The host No. 3 Tigers (7-0, 5-0 DuPage Valley) scored three times in a span of three minutes to close the half with a 35-7 lead over the Falcons (4-3, 2-3).
After quarterback Joe Furco gave them a 14-7 lead on a 24-yard run, WW South linebacker Patrick Dansdill picked off a pass and returned it 48 yards for a touchdown. On the next Falcons possession, Garrett Cook picked off a pass and ran 21 yards for a touchdown for the Tigers.
Michael Olp added a 51-yard touchdown run with 50 seconds remaining in the second half for WW South.
