Naperville North 48, West Aurora 12: No. 2 Naperville North’s double-wing offense accumulated 373 rushing yards to bury West Aurora 48-12 on Friday night at Harshbarger-Welzel Field in Naperville.

The Huskies (7-0, 5-0 DuPage Valley Conference) scored the game’s first 28 points and their defense registered seven sacks to extend their winning streak to 12 games. North running back Nick Mlady finished with 13 carries for 220 yards and two touchdowns. Fullback Jack Roberts caught a touchdown pass and ran in for another score.

West Aurora (3-4, 1-4) no longer has any margin for error. To earn their first postseason berth since 1994, the Blackhawks will have to beat West Chicago and Glenbard North, and then hope that their rugged DVC schedule has earned them enough playoff points to qualify.
