The Private School League title should once again be a three team dogfight between Aurora Christian, Chicago Christian and Walther Lutheran.

The Broncos lost a lot from last season’s team, but should be improved on offense. Senior quarterback David Tuomi (5-9, 150) will run a wing-T offense that is sure to feature senior running back Randon Simms (5-11, 185).

“We’ve lost quite a bit from last year and are going to be pretty young this year, but I think our offense will be better,” Walther Lutheran coach Bruce Tuomi said. “Simms is a combo back and we will be run heavy.”

Two-way senior tackle Terry Brown (6-4, 265) will anchor the offensive and defensive lines.

On defense, junior linebacker Logan Davis (5-11, 185) will need to step up and become a leader this season.
