Tinley Park remained undefeated, beating Hillcrest 34-13 Friday in the South Suburban Blue matchup on homecoming night in Tinley Park.

"Games are just different when you're playing homecoming night," Tinley Park quarterback Kyle Sheridan (13-20, 255 yards, two touchdowns, interception, six carries, 39 yards, touchdown) said.

After Hillcrest scored on 14-yard touchdown run by Breyonte Brewer (12-20, 164 yards, six carries, 20 yards, TD) on its third play of the game, Tinley Park (4-0, 2-0) scored three unanswered touchdowns. Touchdown passes of 13 to Eldridge Anderson (two catches, 43 yards, TD) and 23 to Adam Gunther from Sheridan, along with a one-yard touchdown run by the quarterback made it 20-7.

Hillcrest (0-4, 0-2) scored on a six-yard touchdown run by Teron McKinley (13 carries, 96 yards, TD) to make it 20-13, but would not score again. Tinley Park running back Hassan Abdullah would add touchdown runs of five and 30 to close out the scoring for the Titans.

"One more win and it's playoff time," Sheridan said.
