T.F. South takes rivalry game

T.F. South 36, T.F. North 0: Josh Titus passed for 224 yards and three touchdowns as the Rebels (3-0) beat their District 215 rival in the schools' 50th regular-season meeting.

 

Rob Gafford ran 16 times for 100 yards and a touchdown for South, which leads the all-time series 33-19 (including two postseason meetings).

‘‘We’re making progress,’’ said South coach Tom Padjen, whose uncle, John Padjen, was the Rebels' first football coach. ‘‘We had to reinforce how important the North-South rivalry is.’’
