St. Charles East 15, Elgin 1: Mike Hoscheit hit his sixth homer of the season, a three-run shot, and finished 3-for-4 with four RBI as the Saints (12-11-1, 11-6-1) rolled in the Upstate Eight.

Tyler Deetjen (3-2) struck out 10, walked none and allowed six hits over six innings.
