South Elgin 2-4, Prarie Ridge 0-2: South Elgin picked up a pair of wins against Prairie Ridge in a non-conference doubleheader.

South Elgin won the opener behind Lauren Vitiello's one-hitter. Alyssa Krause and Courtney Bosteder both had an RBI apiece.

In game two, Rebecca French earned the win allowing one hit and striking out 10 while working around 10 walks. Vitiello was 3-for-4 with three RBI. Prairie Ridge tied the game with two runs in the top of the seventh, before South Elgin scored two in the bottom of the inning.

The Storm (12-3) has now won eight straight.
