Seton's Terry sweeps sprints at Top Times meet

Seton's Dejanae Terry won the girls 55- and 200-meter dashes Friday in the Class 1A portion of the Illinois Prep Top Times Indoor Classic at Illinois Wesleyan University's Shirk Center in Bloomington.

Terry took the 55 in 7.39 seconds and ran 26.35 in the 200. Seton also had a first in the 800 relay from the team of Mykel Adams, Charlita Berry, Robin Campbell and Jasmine Gardner, who ran 1:49.90.

Local boys winners were Parker's Jonny Levin in the 3,200, Seneca's Jason Stuedemann (55 hurdles), Leo's Bruce Gray (55) and Herscher's Josh Jones (800).

Other area girls winners were Aurora Christian's Mackenzie

Bollinger (triple jump) and Bishop McNamara's Katie Ryan (55 hurdles).
