Little leads Schaumburg again

Even a little Little was too much for Rolling Meadows.

Schaumburg's Shepard Little (16 carries, 104 yards) scored on runs of nine, 18, 13 and three yards and caught a 58-yard touchdown pass from Mark Iannotti as the No. 11 Saxons (3-0) rolled to a 47-6 win on the road.

"I have a great group of guys in front of me,'' said Little. "The offensive line did a great job. Coach (Mark Stilling) told us that we should go out and play like the hunter and not the hunted.''

Junior Brandon Kibby added touchdown runs of 11 and 54 yards for Schaumburg. Rolling Meadows got on the board late on a four-yard touchdown pass from Jack Milas to John Burkiewicz. Rolling Meadows (1-2) was held to 19 yards rushing.

"I don't think we tackled well, but our pursuit was good,'' Stilling said. "No one stood out defensively, but the guys were pretty focused. They understood their roles and did them to the best of their abilities.''
