South Elgin came up short in all five of its matches at the Hersey Invite, losing to Contant (25-15, 25-9), Schaumburg (25-17, 25-23), St. Viator (25-7, 25-23), Prospect (25-9, 25-15) and Hersey (25-10, 25-8). Jim McMahon led the Storm, recording 15 kills and 16 digs on the day. Andrew Gleason (12 kills, 18 digs) and Tony Thomas (11 kills, 15 digs) also contributed.
