Roosevelt 8, Uplift 6: Roosevelt took advantage of six Uplift turnovers to prevail 8-6 over Uplift in the Inter-City contest at Jorndt Field.

The Rough Riders (4-4, 2-2 Chicago Public League) took an early lead on a six-yard touchdown run by Jamar Evans in the first quarter. Sergio Montoya converted the two-point try.

Uplift (6-2, 5-1) finally got on the board in the third quarter thanks to a 61-yard touchdown run by Shelton Wallace.

Roosevelt's defense came up with a big stop on the two-point conversion and kept the Titans out of the end zone for the rest of the game.

Evans had 115 yards on 17 carries.
