Plainfield North 16, Romeoville 3: Brett Evak (7-1) pitched a three-hitter and fanned four as the No. 10 Tigers (22-5, 17-0 Southwest Prairie) knocked off the Spartans (15-11-1, 6-11) in five innings. Zac Pacanowski slugged a grand slam for North, which also had homers from Mike Klett, Casey Wilgieswicz, Andrew Starks and Alex Molek.
