Crete-Monee scored 24 second-half points to pull away from visiting Rich South and remain unbeaten with a 30-0 Southland win Friday.
Junior wideout LaQuan Treadwell sparked the Warriors (8-0, 4-0) down the stretch, hauling in four catches for 103 yards and a TD in the second half. He finished the game with 130 yards on eight receptions.
Crete-Monee quarterback Marcus Terrell put his team on the board late in the first quarter with a 5-yard run.
The score remained 6-0 at halftime as the teams were locked in a defensive battle.
The Warriors capitalized on costly turnovers by Rich South (3-5, 3-2) in the third quarter.

Terrell also hooked up with LaQuan for a 38-yard score in the third quarter.
A Stars fumble deep in Crete-Monee territory led to Kenneth Kidd’s 14-yard touchdown run with 1:58 left.
