Helping Rocky
A benefit for former Eisenhower player and current Cardinals assistant football coach Rocky Clark will be held next Friday, when Eisenhower hosts Richards. Clark has been paralyzed since suffering an injury while playing for Eisenhower in 2000 and was the subject of a TV One documentary, “Will to Live,” which aired last week and is available at tvoneonline.com. Clark’s insurance ran out last year when he reached the benefit limit, and various groups have worked to help pay his medical bills. Clark will be honored before kickoff and will be given a check to help defray his expenses after the game.
