Reed-Custer had six champs and 10 sectional qualifiers en route to winning its second regional in three years, 207-197 over runner-up Plano.

The Comets had firsts from Trent Lyons (22-8) at 103, Stephen Rosenburg (21-12) at 112, Billy Chancey (27-10) at 119, Matt Engel (22-7) at 125, Matt Housman (4-1) at 130 and Pat Casagrande (18-9) at 145.

Plano had 11 sectional qualifiers, led by four champs: Travis Tomac (28-4) at 140, Adam Iverson (28-4) at 152, Uciel Carrizales (6-1) at 215 and Taylor Thill (24-8) at heavyweight.

Also winning regional titles were Coal City's Chase Odeen (34-0) at 160 and Charles Nugent (22-18) at 189 and Dwight's Blake Becker (15-10) at 135 and Ryan Struppa (33-4) at 171.
