Scott scored his trio of TDs in the second half as the Warhawks (2-5 overall, 1- 3 in the NSC Prairie) pulled away from the Panthers (0-7, 0-5).

The Panthers took an early 6-0 lead when Nick Olson caught a 33-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Michael Cruz, who was in the lineup due to an injury from normal starter Matt Ortiz. The lone points in the second quarter came by way of North Chicago's special teams, as Marquis Miller returned a punt 44 yards for a score and a 20-6 halftime advantage.

Scott sandwiched touchdown runs of 6- and 46-yards between a Chambliss to Wallace Arrington 13-yard TD pass to help the Warhawks build a commanding 39-6 lead early in the final quarter.

No way anyone saw this coming.

Down 14-3 after three quarters, a Mundelein team that had scored 27 points all season scored 22 fourth-quarter points to stun Zion-Benton 25-14 on Friday, earning first-year Mustang coach Bob Stone his first win.

Kenny Jernigan scored on a one-yard run with 8:38 left, quarterback Aaron Metzger scored on a two-yard run with 5:26 left, and Jernigan scored on a 25-yard run with 1:29 left to complete the comeback.

Highland Park 27, Deerfield 24
This three-overtime thriller went to Highland Park, which survived 27-24 over Deerfield to improve to 5-2 on the season.

Deerfield is 4-3 but still in playoff contention.

In the third overtime, Deerfield went first and scored on a 26-yard field goal by Jason Hendel. On Highland Park's first play, quarterback Anthony Kopp hit Brian Wilneff with a 10-yard TD pass to end it.
