Matt Alviti: Hawks’ dual-threat quarterback rushed for 166 yards and three touchdowns on 22 carries and went 11-for-17 for 176 yards and another touchdown via the air in No. 1 Maine South’s 45-21 win over No. 23 Glenbrook South.
Joel Bouagnon, RB, Burlington Central: Junior tailback rushed for 256 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries in a 55-3 win against Marengo.
Leroy Bridges, WR, Perspectives-Calumet: Caught six passes for 238 yards and three touchdowns to lead Perspectives-Calumet past Little Village 46-0 in a Windy City Conference matchup.
James Butler, WR/Returner, Bartlett: Returned two punts for touchdowns (35, 50 yards) and caught four passes for 116 yards and a touchdown as Bartlett cruised to a 59-0 win in Streamwood.
Keontae Hall, RB, Hinsdale South: Ran for 247 yards and four touchdowns (both career highs) on 29 carries as the Hornets defeated visiting Willowbrook 50-22.
Kalium Ewing, DB, Nazareth: Returned two interceptions for touchdowns (60, 25 yards) as the No. 13 Roadrunners routed St. Viator 51-14 to earn a share of the East Suburban Catholic Conference championship with Marist. Ewing has four picks for scores on the season.
Anthony Maddie, QB, Aurora Christian: Accounted for six touchdowns (5 passing, 1 rushing) and 424 yards of total offense to power the Chargers’ offense in a 49-6 victory vs. Aurora Central.
John Rhode, QB, Montini: Threw for 328 yards and seven touchdowns on 18-for-25 passing as the No. 24 Broncos rolled to a 54-6 win over visiting Wheaton Academy. Since his return from a broken right thumb, Rhode has thrown for more than 1,100 yards and 22 touchdowns in just over 10 quarters.
Devonte Rimmer, RB, King: Had 13 carries for 247 yards, highlighted by touchdown runs of 74, 54 and 28 yards, to power the Jaguars past Brooks 18-17 in the opening round of the Public League playoffs.
Owen Williams, RB, Lake Forest: Ran 20 times for 233 yards and three touchdowns (30, 40 and 90 yards) and also scored on a two-point conversion run in the Scouts’ 25-9 victory over host Libertyville.
Ian Woodworth, QB, Marist: The RedHawks’ star signal-caller completed 35 of 45 passes for 557 yards and four touchdowns as host Marist upset No. 14 Joliet Catholic 56-51 in ESCC action. Woodworth also ran for a score.
