Roadrunners race to regional title

Dominic Purpura pitched two-hit ball over 4 1/3 innings as Nazareth blanked St. Joseph 10-0 Thursday to win the Fenwick Regional.

It was the first summer regional title for the Roadrunners (29-4-2), who had big games from Ryan Powers (3-for-3, three runs) and Matt Radford (2-for-2, walk, two RBI). Purpura (5-0) struck out five and walked two.
