Mundelein High senior R.J. Bond will play football next fall at the University of Calgary in Alberta, Canada.
He has also received a $20,000 International Football Merit Scholarship that is renewable for all four years.
The Calgary Dinos are part of the Canadian Interuniversity Sport Conference and are currently the Canadian West Champions.
"R.J. will have an immediate impact and I look forward to the first day he pads up in the summer," said Desmoin Cooksey, recruiter and trainer.
Bond transferred to Mundelein High from downstate Lincoln. His junior and senior years, he played defensive end and wide receiver.
