Portage already was probably hoping for a better sectional draw before its Duneland Athletic Conference showdown with Merrillville on Friday night. Imagine what the Indians are thinking now. The Pirates routed Portage 80-30 in a preview of the teams' first-round game in the Class 4A Michigan City Sectional.
