The rundown: The Don McKillip era begins at Lockport with the match-up against Downers Grove North from the West Suburban Silver Conference. The Porters are coming off a 5-5 season in which they lost to York in the first round of the playoffs. QB Billy Reed returns but probably will miss the game with an injury. Lockport won last year’s opener between the two 42-20.
