Hart leads Fenwick past Leo

Fenwick quarterback Pat Hart accounted for three touchdowns as the Friars used a ball control attack to dominate the second half in beating Leo 28-7 in a Catholic League crossover Sunday afternoon at Gately Stadium.

Hart threw touchdown passes of four and eight yards to Sam Ainsworth. He also scored on a four-yard rushing touchdown.

Leo junior quarterback Gerard Baker threw a 60-yard scoring touchdown to Bruce Gray to pull the Lions within 14-7 at the break. Fenwick dominated the second half, limited the Lions (2-3) to just one first down. Fenwick ran 70 plays from scrimmage to just 42 for the Lions.

Running back Eric Houlihan added a four-yard touchdown run for the Friars (2-3).
