While they don't pitch and catch on the same high-school baseball team, two of the area's best players made verbal commitments recently to continue their careers on the collegiate level. Warren senior catcher Scott Heelan and Lakes junior pitcher Nick Hibbing made commitments to NCAA Division I program.
