Two turnovers by host Lake Park (1-3, 0-1) contributed. The No. 14 Hawks (4-0, 1-0) scored on Fabian Libreri’s nine-yard run after a bad Lake Park snap from punt formation to break the tie. Dan Karys then kicked a 38-yard field goal after another Lake Park fumble.
Hawk quarterback Josh Hasenberg (8-for-27, 191 yards) hit Alex VanNess (8 receptions, 86 yards) on a 31-yard touchdown pass with 7.5 seconds remaining in the first half.
