Joliet Catholic 11, St. Joseph 7: At Gillespie Field, the Hilltoppers (13-3, 5-1) hit two inside-the-park homers during a five-run third inning in the East Suburban Catholic Conference win. Nick Ratajczak hit a three-run homer and Brian Budzinski (three hits, double, three RBI) also homered in the inning. John Ruettiger registered three hits, including a double and triple.

Junior Kevin Hulbert (2-0) picked up the win in relief.

"You don't see many inside-the-park homers, especially two in the same inning," Joliet Catholic coach Jared Voss said.
