West Side junior

The Cougars quarterback had an amazingly productive and amazingly efficient night in a 44-0 victory over Lew Wallace. Ellis threw three touchdown passes (on just five passes), ran for a touchdown, threw two two-point conversions and ran for two more two-point conversions. All told, he had his hand in 32 West Side points.

Each Post-Tribune Player of the Week will receive a plaque courtesy of the Post-Tribune and Crown Trophy.
