Lincoln Park 48, Gage Park 0: Junior standout Jason Stigler had quite the day, returning the opening kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown, scoring two more times and totaling 200 all-purpose yards for Lincoln Park (3-0).
Stigler carried the ball six times for 60 yards and a touchdown. He also caught a 55-yard scoring strike from quarterback Chris Palmer, who also found tight end Jameson Hammonds for a 39-yard score. Palmer completed 5 of 9 passes for 147 yards.
Kevin Blanchard (nine carries, 85 yards, three touchdowns) and Chris Kelly (eight carries, 100 yards) also paced Lincoln Park's ground attack.
On defense, nose tackle Kenzelle Mason had eight tackles, while Blanchard (two interceptions) and Palmer (one interception) starred in the secondary. Kelly, who plays fullback and middle linebacker, had five tackles.
