Football: Pipkins leads Harper over Dunbar

Kewane Pipkins passed for two touchdowns and ran for another on Monday to power Harper to a 40-14 win over Dunbar in a Public League Playoff semifinal at Gately Stadium.
Pipkins (3-for-6, 75 yards) threw a 44-yard score to Dennis Barnes and a 15-yard pass to Michael Stevens to take a 32-14 lead at halftime.
Lorenzo Herbert and Antoryio Barton each had a rushing touchdown for Harper (10-2) in the first half.
“This is the fourth time that we’ve played them in my career and the first time that we have won,” Pipkins said. “This is a real special win but we still have more work to do.”
Pipkens added a 15-yard rushing touchdown on the last play of the third quarter.
Darvell Harris threw two touchdown passes of 66 and 24 yards to lead the Mightymen (7-5).
