Lincoln-Way East steamrolls Dunbar

Top-ranked Lincoln-Way East marked its territory Friday night, beating Dunbar 49-15 on Friday night in Frankfort.
From the first snap of the game, this one belonged to Lincoln-Way East.
On the first play from scrimmage, Lincoln-Way East quarterback Blake Winkler passed to wide receiver Jay Yancy for a 31-yard touchdown. With five minutes left in the first quarter, Winkler threw a short pass to running back Tyler Starke, who rumbled for a 56-yard touchdown.
The Mightymen had as response in the form of a 39-yard touchdown run by quarterback Darvell Harris.
Winkler and Starke later connected for a 38-yard touchdown pass. After an interception by Nathan Royer, Winkler and Starke collaborated a third time, this one a 6-yard touchdown. The Griffins (2-0) led 42-8 at halftime.
In the third quarter, a 44-yard run by Yancy set up a 2-yard score by Nick Colangelo to help make it 49-8.
