Darvell Harris threw three touchdown passes to lead Dunbar past Curie 30-13 Friday at Lane.

‘‘It was a little tough throwing, because I didn’t know how much touch to put on or take off the ball,’’ said Harris, refering to the windy conditions.

The Mighty Men (5-3, 4-1 Red Bird) jumped on the Condors early. Antoine Jones (18 carries, 68 yards) ran for a nine-yard score and caught a 16-yard touchdown to stake Dunbar a 16-0 with 5:00 left in the first quarter.

Harris’ second touchdown pass to Kyler Dawson for 28 yards put the Might Men up 24-6 at halftime.

‘‘It was important that we jumped on top early,’’ said Harris, who finished 9-for-15 for 189 yards. ‘‘We need to tighten things up as we get into the playoffs.’’

The Condors (5-3, 3-2) scored on 45-yard run by Jibreel Jackson (20 carries, 65 yards) and a six-yard run by Kevonta McIntyre.
