Crete-Monee advances to quarters for first time

In 72-degree weather, Crete-Monee scored a 35-10 victory over host Normal in the Class 6A second-round matchup before about 2,800 fans, many having made the two-hour trip southwest. The Warriors (10-1) advanced to the playoff quarterfinals for the first time.
