Conant took first at the Leyden Tournament, winning four of their five matches on the day.
A three game win over Leyden 25-15, 28-30, 15-11 proved to be the difference for the Cougars (25-9). Dan Aloisio led the way with 32 kills for the day, followed by Peter Lauterbach with 30.
Ryan Schraub and Drew Fisher split the setting duties, with each passing out 48 assists. Lauterbach added 31 digs defensively, while Ropiak had nine blocks.
