  <description><![CDATA[<p><b>South Shore 14, Phillips 3:</b> Cortez Chapman threw all five innings, striking out six in picking up the win. He also was a star at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two runs scored for South Shore (9-8, 8-4 Ernie Banks). The Tars also got big games from Walter Rodgers (3-for-4, two runs, three RBI),  Rashiem Stanton (2-for-3, two runs, RBI) and Rodney Montgomery (1-for-3, run, three RBI).</p>]]></description>

In the second game, South Shore was carried by Walter Rogers, who was 4-for-5 with four runs scored and three RBI. Howard Dent also helped out the offense, hitting two doubles and driving in three.</p>]]></description>
