Somonauk 13, Illinois Lutheran 3: Shayne Peterson, Mack Land, Sal Peritore and Dave Baumann all had two hits as the Bobcats eliminated the Cavaliers in the Class 1A Gardner-South Wilmington Sectional semifinals. Aaron Alvarez was the winner. Jason Kotecki had two hits for Illinois Lutheran.

Somonauk too much for Seneca

Somonauk 13-10, Seneca 3-1: The Bobcats moved to 21-2 on the season thanks to complete games from Aaron Alvarez and Shayne Peterson (both 5-0). Danny Lorenzini and Sal Peritore combined for five RBI in Game 1, Brock Karthesier drove in three in Game 2.
