The Lisle football team knew what was coming. It even knew who. But it didn't matter as Plano used its three-back, misdirection running attack to perfection in a 30-14 win over the Lions on Friday night at Benedictine University.

Coal City senior Bobby Kroeger tallied touchdown runs of 2, 5 and 11 yards to help boost the Coalers (2-0) to the Interstate Eight Conference crossover win. He finished with 137 yards on the ground in 22 carries.
