Lake Park 10, York 0: Kelly Loy went the distance in the six-inning win for regional host Lake Park, allowing only three singles while striking out three. Kelly Mieszala was 3-for-4 for Lake Park with three runs scored and an RBI double. Alexis Munaco and Vicky Tomaka both went 3-for-4 for the Lancers, each scoring a run and driving in a run.

Warriors see small advantage slip away

Through five innings Wednesday, Waubonsie Valley's softball team was leading by one against Lake Park, but it was a tenuous lead. The Warriors had allowed three hits, walked two and committed three errors through five innings, but led, 1-0. But in the sixth inning, it all caught up to them.

Lancers get past St. Charles East

Lake Park 6, St. Charles East 2: Angie Bates tossed a complete game, allowing only two earn runs and walking one for the Lancers (18-9). Kelly Mieszala and Carly Willert carried the offense, each going 3-for-4 with a run scored.
